Ashes, Independent Investigative Journalist and Owner of Ashesonair.org
On March 18, 2025, the National Archives released 63,400 pages of previously withheld JFK assassination records under Executive Order 14176 and the President John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Act of 1992. This massive disclosure offers a critical window into the shadows of November 22, 1963, when President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. Having dug into these files, I’ve uncovered unreported insights—from CIA operations in Mexico City to Operation Mongoose’s covert moves—that demand immediate scrutiny. My March 19 call for help launched this effort; today, I’m sharing new findings to ignite a collective push for truth.
Exclusive Revelations: Fresh Clues from the Files
Attachments like 104-10175-10114.pdf, 104-10175-10110.pdf, 104-10105-10290.pdf, and 104-10175-10085.pdf unveil CIA activities:
- “SECRET” dispatches from Mexico City’s Chief of Station link George Blake, Vice President of the American Chamber of Commerce Mexico, to intelligence ops under codes “AMOM 19453” and “MMMW 19453.”
- A 1973 memo details E. Howard Hunt’s alias “Edward Joseph Hamilton,” tied to the Bay of Pigs and a mid-1960s Spain tour, excluded from a 1965 Madrid inspection.
- A 40-page dossier (1946-1954) profiles Alfonso R. Wichtrich, a WWII intelligence operative in Latin America, terminated in 1949 with a restricted file.
My earlier review of eight PDFs adds depth: Operation Mongoose, pitched May 31, 1962 (RIF 202-10001-10219), and greenlit September 6, 1962 (RIF 202-10001-10187), targeted Cuba with submerged propaganda—despite warnings. Post-assassination, helicopter sorties struck Honduras on November 26, 1963 (RIF 198-10009-10098), and Brazil busted propaganda ops on October 14, 1963 (RIF 198-10008-10119). These threads weave a compelling Cold War narrative.
Spotlight on Key Players: Faces of the Shadows
- E. Howard Hunt: A CIA veteran, his alias hints at covert travel—possibly Mexico. No direct assassination link emerges, but his role stands out.
- George Blake: A U.S. businessman in Mexico, potentially a CIA front via the Chamber.
- Alfonso R. Wichtrich: An early operative whose Latin American work prefigures later focus.
Mexico City Nexus: The Assassination’s Hidden Hub
Mexico City connects these files—Blake’s dispatches, Wichtrich’s tenure, and Hunt’s alias align with Lee Harvey Oswald’s 1963 embassy visits, monitored by the CIA. Operation Mongoose’s Latin American reach strengthens this link, suggesting a broader intelligence web too significant to ignore.
Assassination Connection: Piecing the Puzzle
No document directly names Oswald or November 22, 1963, but the context matters. Mongoose’s timing, ahead of JFK’s vow to “splinter” the CIA, and Mexico City’s prominence frame the era’s tensions. Redactions obscure more—making our effort vital.
Why This Is Breaking News: Time’s Running Out
As of March 20, 2025, 04:27 AM PDT, these specifics remain unreported by mainstream outlets or the Mary Ferrell Foundation. The 63,400 pages won’t unravel themselves, and with family matters requiring my attention today—uncertain internet and cell service ahead—I must pause this work temporarily. But the urgency remains: we can’t let this fade.
